Campers enjoy the great outdoors, and they like to do more than take hikes and sit around a campfire. As summer approaches and the temperatures rise it's nice to have a place to go swimming and cool off. Tom Hillegass and Dave Hajdasz have a Web site called SwimmingHoles.info that features over 750 natural places to go swimming in the USA and Canada. The site gives a description of each swimming hole, tells you how to get there and what activities are available (like swimming, tubing, rafting, etc.), provides links to maps, and gives other details about the area. This site also features hot springs for those who like taking a dip in cold weather. SwimmingHoles.info is a great resource for campers whether you want to find a campground near a swimming hole or you are looking for a place to take a day trip.
