Snowbound Oregon Family Survives 17 Days in RV

Pete Stivers, his wife, two children, and his mother and stepfather were safe today after spending 17 days stranded in their RV, which had gotten stuck in 4 feet of snow while taking a short cut on their return from a trip to the Oregon Coast. They melted snow for water, rationed food, and kept it together until their rescue. Read about their survival story:
