Are you unfamiliar with these or other camping terms? Sometimes you may hear things that don't necessarily mean what they sound like. Did you know that

• a chuck box is not used for upchuck
• a ditty bag may or may not be an itty bag
• a guy-line can be used by girls too
• mommy or daddy can use a mummy bag
• private campgrounds are open to the public
• ring and pin are not pieces of jewelry
• shock-corded poles are not electrified
• tub floors are not used for bathing
