Decathlon stores going out of business
Tuesday October 10, 2006
On September 27, Naomi R. Kooker, staff member for the Boston Business Journal, reported, "Decathlon USA, a subsidiary of the French sporting goods retailer, announced Wednesday it is shutting down its operations by the end of this year." Decathlon made the Quechua 2-Seconds Tent. Company spokesperson Nancy Sterling said, "In the aggregate, those stores did not meet the performance expectation." If you're looking for the Quechua 2-Seconds Tent, look no more. If you're wondering what you're missing, read my review.(Photo © Decathlon)

Ahhhh, leave it to the French to let a fantastic tent go down the tubes.
Hope a USA company can buy the patent/rights and continue making them.
I was wondering why they were never in stock. Now we know.
Ok, so a seemingly GREAT instant tent can’t be found in the US, and shipping one from oversees costs not much less than a tent of similar design. Has or is anyone in the US taken up the call for such tents?…as in production and selling them????
