Leatherman Multi-Tools

Friday December 8, 2006
Camping Gear Review - Leatherman makes lots of multi-tools. I like their pocket sized Squire P4 (shown at left). It has an anodized aluminum exterior, weighs just 2 oz., and it's only 2.25 in. long. The P4 features rugged spring-action pliers and includes a knife, screwdrivers, and more. Available in red, blue or gray with a 25-year guarantee for under $30.

Come on. What is this, a paid advertisement. You’ve got to give gerber some respect. The one-handed action makes it far superior to the leatherman.

[Reply from David] No, this is not a paid ad. I have no product affiliations and I have no favorite multi-tool. Yes, you’re right. The Gerber one-handed action is a great feature. I also like the Victorinox Swiss Tool that features all locking tools. The Gadgeteer reviewed all three. Read his multi-tools review.
