Outdoor Events With Camping

Tuesday March 20, 2007
Spring is here, and a new season of outdoor events are in the offering. If you love the outdoors, like to camp, and want to take a different adventure this year, you may want to consider a camping trip to a destination that includes an outdoor event or festival. Most events run on weekends and offer camping on the premises. If you plan to attend, make plans as soon as possible. Campsite reservations go quickly. Here's the latest event added to the list:

Sugar Pine Ranch Rally logoSugar Pine Ranch Rally is an all models motocycle rally and music festival. Everyone is welcome regardless of what they drive or ride, or if they come on bicycle or by foot. Sugar Pine Ranch is a working 200 acre cattle ranch located 3.5 miles north of Mancos, Colorado.

This event will take place over Labor Day weekend with campers permitted to arrive on Thursday August 30th. Campers can stay through Sunday night. Rates are $10 per night for tent sites and $20 per night for RV sites. There will be food vendors, pay showers and staffed fire pits. This is a three day music event, which ends each evening with a nationally known band.
