Outdoor Events With Camping

Spring is here, and a new season of outdoor events are in the offering. If you love the outdoors, like to camp, and want to take a different adventure this year, you may want to consider a camping trip to a destination that includes an outdoor event or festival. Most events run on weekends and offer camping on the premises. If you plan to attend, make plans as soon as possible. Campsite reservations go quickly. Here's the latest event added to the list:

Sugar Pine Ranch Rally logoRock N Resort Music Festival at Clays Park Resort in North Lawrence, Ohio is a three day festival featuring concerts, camping, water park access and other special events. The festival runs from July 27-29, 2007. This is the fourth year for the event and features Classic Rock Headliners Cheap Trick, The New Rascals, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, George Thorogood and the Destroyers with more to be announced. The festival will also feature over 40 regional tribute bands, independent artists, acoustic performers and music workshops.

Three types of camping are offered including general festival camping (tents, vans, etc.), VIP camping offers RV or tent camping overlooking the main stage, and Deluxe camping in Clay's Park's full service RV resort and campground (indoor pool, jacuzzi, laundry facilities, restaurant, etc.) with over 400 full hook up sites. Clay's Park Resort offers over 500 acres in a natural outdoor setting with a 10 acre sand bottom lake, water slides, skate park, hiking / biking trails and more.
