Outdoor Events With Camping

Thursday June 7, 2007
This summer you can find family fun at music festivals, craft fairs and outdoor events that offer camping. These events can be found in every state. Most events run on weekends and offer camping on the premises. If you plan to attend, make plans as soon as possible. Campsite reservations go quickly. Check the list to see what's available. For example, if you live in the greater Cincinnati area, you might be interested in this event:

Acoustic Roots Bluegrass Festival logoAcoustic Roots Bluegrass Festival will be presenting its first bluegrass and gospel event this July 21 and 22. The festival takes place on 60 acres of meadows and woods backed by Spicer Lake in South Lebanon, Ohio. You get free primitive camping with a two-day pass, and concessions are available on site. The 18-acre primitive camping area lies along the Little Miami State and National Scenic River.

A great lineup of talent is scheduled including Vernon McIntyre’s Appalachian Grass, New Grass, The Friends in Bluegrass, the Woolum Brothers, Tim Strong and Kentucky Ridge, and the Haddix Family. Visit acousticrootsbluegrass.com for more details.
