Campfire Tips

Sunday June 24, 2007
Dry conditions can exist any time of year. Wherever you camp, be sure to obey any posted fire regulations. It's a good idea to rake any dry leaves and twigs away from the campfire area, keep a bucket of water nearby, and be sure to extinguish your campfire before retiring for the night.

Keep your campfires small and never leave a campfire unattended. Build campfires in provided fire rings or pre-existing fire pits. Always have adult supervision when kids are around the campfire, especially when roasting hotdogs and marshmallows.
