If you place your hand at the BOTTOM of the wheel. If you need the rear of the trailer to go left, then move your hand to the left. (WHICH FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE WHEEL–IT WOULD TURN THE WHEEL TO THE RIGHT) and vise-versa. This works perfect.
