     | Black Pot Jamboree (Dutch oven cook off) These are pictures from our campground Cherokee Ridge Camp n Cabins in Jamestown, TN. We hosted a Black Pot Jamboree (Dutch oven cook off), which is held the second weekend in October. We had people come from all over the US. We had last years IDOS winner here to demo and answer any questions for people wanting to get into Dutch oven cooking. We had all ages from 13 to 70. Here are a few pictures from that event. There were also cloggers and bluegrass bands throughout the day for entertainment. Our judges were local folks that had experience in cooking from a cattle rancher that does big drives during the summer to a world wide known BBQ specialist to our local Chamber rep. It was a beautiful fall day and a great time for cooking. Three rounds included breads, desserts and main dish. Lodge sponsored all our gifts. |

Thanks for the info and pictures. We’ll be there next year now that we are aware. We specialize in healthy dutch oven cooking (low fat, low sugar, low salt, high flavor).
