Where to shop online

Tuesday December 4, 2007
There are lots of retailers competing for your money, so where do you shop? Finding the best price is quick and easy, but best price may not be all that you are shopping for. Finding quality gear from a reputable retailer may be just as important. Stores that know your interests will offer more than just an online catalogue. Besides good customer service and guarantees, these retailers offer camping tips, product registration, recipes, repair services, gear instructions and more. Here are my top choices:
  • Cabela's sells quality products and offers exceptional customer service. If you are serious about hunting and fishing gear, Cabela's is the place to shop. The Web site is also loaded with information, resources and online services.
  • Campmor is one of my favorite places to shop online for camping gear. They have many of those small and hard to find items, and their prices are always reasonable.
  • Coleman is a name familiar to anyone who camps. You cannot go wrong with Coleman products. They are quality made and backed by good customer service. The Web site is more than just an online store, and it has grown into a wealth of outdoor information.
  • L.L.Bean products and their customer service are unsurpassed. You will be totally satisfied with anything that you purchase from L.L.Bean. The Web site is loaded with information, resources and online services to enhance your enjoyment of the great outdoors.
  • REI is a highly reputable retailer that offers quality camping and outdoor products, as well as great service. You will find gear for just about any outdoor recreation here, and your satisfaction is guaranteed.
