Slow cooked anything always peaks one’s senses, the aromatic flavors that waft gently through the air, (regardless of whether you’re indoors or out), tantalize your nose, increasing the rate of saliva generated in the mouth by the overworked tongue’s taste buds anticipating the touch of the wondrous textures of food being slow cooked, while one’s hearing sharpen with each passing moment, waiting for the dinner bell to sing out, eyesight zooming in on where the best seat will be the one closest to food that is fit for the royalty of any nation.
It can be vegetable, fish, fowl, or game, wild or domesticated, but properly cooked, seasoned lightly (only to the point of maximum flavor & tenderness), and surpassed only by the company of family & friends, sharing our time together,…
