Which Camper Are You?

Friday December 5, 2008
Native08 prefers to get away from it all:
"Why bother to go camping, if not for the solitude and oneness with nature? Wilderness camping is where I go to chill."

jkd518 married a social butterfly:
"Camp goes like this, we pull in, unload and set up camp. I get the dinner going while the kids take off and Hubby goes to find a new friend. They wander back in about time dinner is ready, and I get to hear about the discoverys they have made."

Phil likes a little of both:
"I certainly don't mind socializing at the campground, in fact I love meeting new people that way. I do however prefer a campsite itself that offers some amount of privacy."

We spend most of Easter and the Christmas holidays here in Australia camping arounf the great southern coast. Some of the most pristine country in the world. Check it out if your down under sometime. You wont be disappointed.

(3) Campers Guide says:

Camping is a low cost way to have fun in any season. With gas price sky rocketing around the US more people will want to try out camping as their vacation this year. The best tip I can give about how to really enjoy camping is to be prepared. Create a checklist of everything you can think of that you might need on your camping adventure. Then decide if you have room to take it along.
