Belgian-Style Waffles - This is my favorite recipe for the GSI Waffle Iron. These waffles require a little work to make, but they are delicious. You can save time and reduce mess at the campground by making batches of the dry ingredients ahead of time at home. Store each batch in a Ziploc baggie until ready to use. For variation add fresh blueberries, chocolate chips or chopped pecans.

Product Review - GSI Waffle Iron
This non-stick waffle iron from GSI Outdoors works great. It'll make 2 waffles in 6-8 minutes over a camp stove. It has locking handles that keep the iron closed for flipping, and the two sides come apart for easy cleaning. I've had good results with just-add-water mixes. Cost: @ $24.95 at most sporting goods stores.
