Do You Charcoal Grill?

Friday March 20, 2009
Charcoal grilling is one of the most popular ways to cook at the campground. Campers may have a choice of using the grate over a fire ring or bringing a portable propane grill, but usually they bring a bag of charcoal to use on the supplied campground grill.

Whether you use the grill supplied at the campground or you take a portable grill, you'll find lots of grilling recipes and resources here at About.com.

It’s a shame that (i live in Portugal) most european countries have restricted the barbecues in camping sites, as a measure to ensure that no fires occur during the summer season caused by those above. I think measures should be taken in that sense, to ensure greater chances that no fires occur due to barbecueing, but phorbiding them seems to me a stupidity, as barbecues are so typical in camping, that not to make them is like having pizza without the cheese…
