It's time to start planning your national park camping trips for next summer! Secretary of the Interior, Ken Salazar announced the fee free national park days for 2012.
"I encourage everyone to visit a park near them and enjoy the remarkable landscapes and historical and cultural sites that are unique to our great country, " Salazar said in a press statement.
The fee free dates for 2012 are:
- January 14 - 16
- April 21 - 29
- June 9
- September 29
- November 10 -12
The Bureau of Land Management, National Forest Service and US Fish and Wildlife Service will also participate in some of the fee free days.
