Snowy CampgroundWinter is a wonderful time to go camping, but it requires more preparedness than warm weather camping. Safety is a major concern when camping in cold climates. Appropriate gear is essential to insure staying warm, you need to know how to prevent hypothermia, and you need to be in good physical shape.
