Looking for a place to camp in isolation?

Camper's love to get away from it all, yet isolated campsites are getting harder to find. It usually requires heading into the back country of a national park or forest, or finding a primitive campsite at a state park, which are typically set aside from the rest of the campground. You can camp anywhere in the national forests, no permit required, but be sure to observe any fire restrictions and observe "leave no trace" ethics when off road. The Internet can help you find these out-of-the-way campsites.
