Cica Damn lives in South Africa and mostly camps on rooftop tents in the wilds fearing lions, etc.

"I always crack about two dozen eggs and put into Tupperware. They keep well in an ice box or refrigerator. Then when you want any you just tip them out, fry, or whatever. No trashy eggshells. Also, if you have an animal bugging you in and around camp, and they come to close, pepper spray them. It does no harm, and you do not have a hole in your butt."
