Summer is here, and RVers are hitting the road in spite of gas prices. Many RVers are headed to destinations at parks and resorts, while others are trekking the back roads and caravanning along scenic routes. A popular destination for RVers are outdoor events, where you can park your portable home for a couple days and enjoy the festivities. There are numerous events that offer camping, and there's still time to make plans to attend the biggest RV event of the summer:

The Rally 2007 - Mark your calendars for July 19 - 22. These are the dates of The Rally 2007, which will be held at the Deschutes County Fair and Expo Center in Redmond, Oregon. This event is being billed as the "greatest RV Rally in the world."

Highlights include:

• Over 1000 RVs and hundreds of RV products will be on display.
• RV industry experts will be on hand to conduct over 150 seminars.
• Free activity program for children ages 6-12 and planned activities for teenagers ages 13-17.
• Pets on a leash are welcome, and there's even a Rally Dog Show.
• Live entertainment featuring Suzanne Somers, Gary Puckett, BJ Thomas, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Ticket to Ride (a tribute to the Beatles).

This event is open to the general public. If you're in the northwest this July, make plans to attent this great event.
