Make Friends at the Campground

By David Sweet, About.com

Not all campgrounds provide isolated campsites, so a few tips on being a friendly neighbor can help everyone to better enjoy their campground stays.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 5 minutes

Here's How:

  1. After you settle into your campsite, say hi to your neighbors.
  2. Observe quiet hours.
  3. Keep your campsite free of trash.
  4. Don't build big campfires that tend to send sparks flying.
  5. Extinguish all fires before going to bed.
  6. Keep any pets on a leash.
  7. Stow your food when leaving the campsite for the day; birds and animals can quickly make a mess.

Tips:

  1. Always abide by any posted campground rules.
  2. Please leave your campsite clean.
