Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival logoTemecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival - If you live in southern California, mark your calendars for June 6-8. This is the 25th anniversary of the Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival. This year's event is expected to be bigger and better than ever. Temecula Valley has over 28 wineries that contribute to the wine tasting event, and 50 or more hot air balloons will dot the skies every day. Highlights include:

  • Live entertainment featuring Kenny Loggins, Blake Shelton and John Waite
  • Hot air balloon shows in the evenings: Balloon Glow.
  • Balloons ascend every morning and rides are available daily.
  • Tasting wines from Temecula Valley wineries.
  • Kid's Faire program just for kids 14 and under.
  • An arts and crafts fair, and an international food court.

The island is reached by a passenger ferry operated by the NPS from St. Marys waterfront. Tent camping only is allowed and reservations are required.
