Allie - This campground is nearby, and I've tent camped here many times over the years.

Campground Review

This park is really a hidden treasure. Old Davidsonville was the first settlement in Arkansas, but it faded in the early to mid 1800s. The park has self-guided walking trails where you can visit the original town cemetery, and there are also remnants of the original buildings of the old town with information posted about each one. You can fish here. Boats are available for rent, as are pedal boats and canoes. No swimming though. The park is so beautiful, quiet, and very relaxing. I really recommend it!
