Bill - My family has been going to this campground since the 1970s. We RV camped there in June 2003.
Campground Review
When I say my family goes camping, I mean maw-maw and paw-paw, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends settle here for 7 to 8 days of fun and fellowship. The campground has a great river for tubing and wading. It even has some trout on up stream to catch. It's the kind of place where you can let your kids run with little worries. There used to be black bears that would frequent the camp. But due to campers not following rules regarding the wildlife, the bears where relocated to another section of the park about five years ago. The campground is convenient to all the tourist attractions that the Smokies has to offer, and it gives you a safe refuge to return to after a day of sightseeing.
