Layni - This campground is near our home in Fairfield, OH, and I have been going there for years.
Campground Review
This park has many choice sites. There are 252 family campsites with electrical outlets, showers, flush toilets, laundry, and trailer waste station. More rustic campers can choose from 236 non-electric campsites, with vault-type latrines. Three camper cabins provide built-in bunks, air conditioning, and an outdoor gas grill. Horseback riders can stay at 28 horseman campsites, and youth and adult organizations can reserve a group site. Pets are permitted in a limited number of sites. We have camped here for years and always have a great time. They have clean shower and bath facilities (very important!), spacious wooded sites with picnic tables, and parking at each site. There is tons to do. Campers can pay a small fee to use the pools (indoor and outdoor) at the beautiful lodge. Campers can also participate in all scheduled events at the lodge such as hikes, bonfires, games for the kids, etc. The park has a lake with swimming beach, plenty of hiking trails, and fishing. It's a perfect family getaway. We'll be going back for years.
