Acres of Wildlife, Steep Falls, Maine

Dee - I found this campground looking at local campgrounds in Maine, and I've RV camped there at various times during the season in 2002, 2003, and 2004.

Campground Review

This campground is family owned and operated, family oriented, and there's always something to do. It's a clean place, even the restrooms/showers. We enjoy the events during the seasons from May until October, including a great bluegrass festival in September. The beach is clean. I like the fishing policies, which require no license just catch and release, although you may keep two fish. My kids borrow our camper and take their kids, and we sometimes take our grandkids. We all really enjoy Acres of Wildlife.
