Diane - I found this campground on the Internet, and I RV camped there in July 2004.

Campground Review

This campground is really nice. There is not a whole lot to do, but it's very relaxing. The sites are nice. There is a fully stocked pond for catch and release fishing. My boys loved that, and my oldest caught (and released of course) a large mouth bass. There are paddle boats to rent for $5 a half hour (kind of steep I thought). There is a rule on swimming, if the pool is empty, it's locked. If you want to swim, you need to go to office to get a key and verify that there will be two adults in the pool area with the children or there is no more swimming. If others come to swim and you're leaving, you need to pass the key to them and remind them of the rule of two adults at all times. At first I thought this was a little bit too extreme, but the owners are just trying to make sure everyone is safe, and as the week went along I realized this was a good rule. We stayed earlier in the week at a campground where the pool was a free-for-all, and some kids were in danger of getting hurt with all the horseplay and lack of adults around. We toured the Baseball Hall of Fame, it was only a 10-15 minute ride from the campground. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing camping trip, try visiting Shadow Brook Campground in Cooperstown, NY.
