- Question:
Just a quick note to thank you for a great Web site. I have been searching for info on the net for a place called Bass Lake, near Fresno California. Would like any information you might have so we can plan our trip. We have tent trailers and a boat. Love to ski and fish. We have lots of kids and we need a great place for our summer vacation.
- Answer:
For camping there's High Sierra RV Park
here's local info for Bass Lake businesses
and lottsa things to see and do in the area
plus more links on my California resources.

National forests campgrounds (my personal choice, may be a bit more primitive though):
Sierra National Forest (Spring Cove Campground)
Bass Lake, CA
65 sites
Open from May 25 thru Sep 10

--- or ---
Sierra National Forest (Wishon Point Campground)
Bass Lake, CA
30 sites, non-flush toilets
Open from May 25 thru Sep 10

BTW, Bass Lake is supposedly only 20 minutes from the south entrance of Yosemite. However, it WILL be crowded in the summer! As a day trip, I'd suggest Sequoia NP. No crowds, and very scenic!
