- Question:
We are planning a trip to Banff/Jasper this summer. We will be traveling in a 29' Class C motorhome, with two adults, four children and one small dog. We own the motorhome and it is not our first long distance trip. My questions are about bringing a pet to Canada? Food, liquor, fruit etc? No firearms and no tobacco products will be brought on the trip. How are border crossings conducted? We will probably enter Canada through Montana. Return trip crossing? I've heard many stories about crossing the border. Don't know if they are true.
- Answer:
You can put your mind at ease, because crossing the border to Canada is no big deal if you're prepared. Jane McLean, guide for Canada for Visitors, offers some expert advice and resources for visiting Canada.
