Where can I find advice on trailer manufacturer's ratings (reviews) for quality/reliability, like Consumer Reports does auto reviews? How do we know where to start?

Here's a couple suggestions for getting started:

1st - The "Consumer Reports of RVs" is online at a Web site called RV Consumer Group and offers members many benefits including their RV Rating Book which lists RV durability, value, and star awards. The $100 membership also includes advice for buying an RV, a quarterly newsletter, discounts, and an online library of letters from other members talking about brands, manufacturers, and issues.

2nd - Visit Epinions Web site which has a searchable database of RV owner reviews.
