Camping Questions and Answers

Question:

My husband wants to take me camping in Montana in October. It is very likely that it will be snowing and extremely cold. What do you think about camping in the winter/snow?

Answer:

Winter/snow camping can be a wonderful new adventure. But you must be prepared: proper clothes, good equipment, and know the weather extremes. If you're tent camping you'll not want to camp if the weatherman says there's a major storm coming. If you're merely camping in the snow (we're not talking about surviving a blizzard), just have good warm clothes and pay particular attention to your footgear.
