Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 15-ounce can diced tomatoes
- 1 15-ounce can tomato sauce
- 1 15-ounce can kidney beans
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 green pepper chopped
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups water
Preparation:
Brown the ground beef in a Dutch oven, and then set aside to drain grease. Brown the chopped onion and green pepper next. Combine all ingredients (except the beans) and bring to a simmer. Add the kidney beans and continue simmering for one hour, stirring occasionally. Serve hot with crackers and grated cheese.Servings: 8
