Travelogue - from the Hills to the Beach

Arrival

After a short ferry ride (the only way to reach Ocracoke Island), we arrived with torrential rains and strong winds, so we parked the camper and spent the night in town. The next morning greeted us with clear sunny skies and cool temperatures, ideal for setting up camp. Here's our home for the next few weeks. Tomorrow we'll be ready to hit the beach! For tonight we're content to enjoy some home-made chili on this cool evening and watch the stars.
