Travelogue - from the Hills to the Beach

After another gorgeous night for sleeping, we awoke to a beautiful Ocracoke campground morning, and were greeted with a nice sea breeze to blow the bugs away.  Today's breakfast consists of hot biscuits ala dutch oven, home grown 'maters, country sausage, preserves and hot coffee.  Bugs were scarce today and made the beach much more pleasant. Christi and I tried a little fishing, but caught nothing to talk about. Here's a typical rig we use here in the surf.  For lunch we stopped at Howard's for some of their famous pulled pork in vinegar sauce BBQ sandwiches with cole slaw.  Sunset this lovely Friday evening. Until tomorrow ... David
