Travelogue - from the Hills to the Beach
Dateline: 09/21/98 - 09/24/98|
Three weeks is a lengthy stay and we were really starting to feel at home, but all good things must come to an end. As usual, we take advantage of the good weather and spend most of our time on the beach. Thursday we finish packing so all we have to do in the morning is have breakfast, gas up and put air in the tires, and hook up the camper.  
The Cockle Creek Restaurant was the site of our last two dinners on the island. We enjoyed it so much on Wednesday that we went back Thursday. Cockle Creek has probably the most extensive selection of entrees of any restaurant on the island, and everyone boasted about how good their meals were. The seafood is great at most any restaurant on the island, but this is the place for steaks. Our last sunset! (Click to view a 600x400 image.) Until tomorrow ... David
