Camping is a recreation shared and enjoyed by many because of its simplicity and because it gets us outdoors and away from our busy lives. Camping has no special requirements beyond getting to the campground, preparing a comfy place to sleep, and taking along something good to eat and drink. The rest of the time is open to partake in whatever you enjoy, whether it's just laying around the campsite, or engaging in your favorite outdoor recreation.
But what comprises the perfect camping destination? Usually it's a combination of things: the smell of the outdoors, the serenity of the campsite, the camaraderie of family and friends, the glow of the campfire, the smell of outdoor cooking, or the stars at night. It's different for each of us.
The quest then is to find the perfect campground, a destination that guarantees contentment, a campsite worthy of repeat visits. A thrill comes from looking for the perfect campground and the enjoyment of being able to tell others where we found it.
