Destinations Eastern Kentucky

Yatesville Lake Recreation - 1, 3

Yatesville Lake is a destination for boating and fishing, and although it may be better known for its great bluegill fishing, don't sell this lake short for bass, crappie, or catfish. Yatesville Lake is clear and clean, just what you want when boating to your favorite hotspot. The park campground has a boat launch, but no services.

Boaters will find all the services they need at the park Marina, located some 15 miles by car from the state park campground and boat launch. The Marina has 140 slips available, as well as rental pontoons, john boats, and pedal boats. Here too you can purchase gas, groceries, and fishing bait and tackle.

For some great boating, fishing and camping in scenic eastern Kentucky, set your sites for Kentucky's newest state park, Yatesville Lake.
