Boy Scouts of America

Since 1916, the Boy Scouts of America have been training boys and girls to be active and responsible young adults. The scouts involve kids in lots of camping and outdoor activities. Scouting programs are broken into several age groups.
Boy Scouts
Boy Scouting is available to boys who have earned the Arrow of Light Award or have completed the fifth grade, or who are 11 through 17 years old.
Cub Scouts
A family program for boys in the first through fifth grades (or ages 7, 8, 9, or 10).
National Eagle Scouts
A fellowship of men who have achieved the Eagle Scout rank and who desire using their efforts and influence toward forming the kind of young men America needs for leadership.
Varsity Scouting
A program for young men who are at least 14 years of age but not yet 18 who are looking for rugged high adventure or challenging sporting activities.
Venturing
A youth development program of the Boy Scouts of America for young men and women who are between the ages of 14 and 21.
