We stayed here a couple of years ago and I just found this site. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!! We were welcomed by the lady in the office yelling at us for not going through the gate (most campgrounds that have a gate have one for a reason). Site for our 38 foot motor home was very small. We went to the pool and got yelled at for not obeying the 40 or more rules that they have for swimming. The owner came up on his golf cart and watched us for about 5 minutes and then said it you read rule # you would know that you can't have a ball in the pool. EXCUSE US FOR TRYING TO HAVE FUN IN THIS GOD FORSAKEN CAMPGROUND. Got yelled at for having our fire above 18"". We just started the fire and of course it is hard to have control of it when you start it. I think that I measured it to be 18 1/2"" high. SORRY!!! Pond was disgusting. The bathrooms in the tenting area were out of order but near the motor homes they were working. Would it be more important to have the bathrooms by the tenting area open? Isn't that a health issue????? I bet that most people didn't walk down to the bathrooms to go and just used the grounds. We have camped for over 40 years (we still use campground etiquette that the newbie’s don't seem to use). We also feel that they must pay their seasonal people to spy on the transients. We feel that they are the ones that told that our fire was too high. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEM HAVING SITES OPEN WHEN OTHER CAMPGROUNDS DON'T. THERE IS A GOOD REASON FOR THAT. THANK YOU, CIRCLE 9 FOR MAKING THIS CAMPING TRIP THE WORST ONE WE HAVE HAD IN 40 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
