Green Ridge State Forest has some awesome camping sites. We stayed at Bond's Landing which is right on the Potomac River. This is a primitive campground with only a Porta-Potty. There are 10-12 sites there. It's a 20 mile drive into the forest from the Interstate. The C and O canal towpath is right there too. Get away from phones, TV's, computers, noise.
