Campground Review

For every camper that likes to go with the bare minimum, Bob's Cove is the perfect spot. To get to the camp site you either have to hike 3km (approximately 1.5 mile) through the forest on very scenic trails that follow the tops of cliffs along the water, or you have to boat in from across the large lake. Once at the campsite you'll find it in a small valley in between three steep hills. On the one side is the trail that enters the campsite. To the right of that is another hill that leads to the top of another cliff that allows you to look out over the lake. To the right of that is the cove that is sheltered from the wind. Across the small cove (approximately 50 feet) is another cliff that can be climbed. If you venture out to the end of that cliff, you can look around and see water on three sides. This offers a great place for diving, since it is about two stories above the water and an easy swim back to the campsite. Bob's Cove is the perfect site for a nature lover who can live without running water (except in the lake).
