We found this campground while surfing the Web back in 1997 looking for a campsite on the river in the mountains in or near Pigeon Forge. We've been there in July 1997, June 1998, and August 1999.

Campground Review

I have been camping since 1974, and I have been to many campgrounds so far in my life time in many different areas of the country. We love Little River Village because of the friendliness of the owners (The Chipperfield's) as well as the many staff employees and work-camper's who work here. The cleanliness of the campground is spotless. The scenery of our campsite right on the Little River is stunning. The pool and restrooms are spotless (always clean) and when in need there is a store with any supplies that need replenishment as well as a small restaurant with meals and homemade fudge, ice cream, etc. Also, our daughter loves the game room and our son the playground. Highly recommended as a not-want-to-miss campground.
