We found this campground by searching the California State Parks Web site. We took a chance that it would be a nice place and got lucky. We camped there in July 2000.

Campground Review

The campsites were wooded and spacious; and the restrooms were nearby. There were hiking trails and waterfalls and the Big Sur River runs through the campground giving campers swimming holes and opportunities for tubing. The campground has laundry facilities and a small store. The surroundings are so beautiful, both inside the campground and outside at the beaches. Check out Pfeiffer Beach, a short drive from the campground. Absolutely stunning.
