Wanda - I found this campground by studying the State of Maryland with my 4th grader. We camped there in April 2001.

Campground Review

Though there are only three electric sites, the campground is very nice. The bathrooms are relatively clean, except for a few cobwebs. There is plenty of hot water! The hiking is the best part. Swallow Falls boasts the highest falls in Maryland, Muddy Creek Falls. We try to go every fall and sometimes in the spring. We've seen a bear every time we go. The electric sites, and maybe the other ones too, need to be reserved way in advance, unless you go in the fall or spring.
