Cynthia - I found this campground while staying at a beach house at Mexico Beach a couple of years ago, and I camped there in July 2001.

Campground Review

This campground is located near the tip of a peninsula. There is a large bay on one side and the ocean on the other. The beaches are white and the water is clear and aqua. It makes you feel as if you are on an exotic tropical island. Loggerhead sea turtles lay eggs on this beach. We also saw deer, raccoons, armadillos, starfish, seahorses, crabs, and lots of other neat things! The bathrooms are clean with plenty of hot water and there's electric and water hookups at all campsites. There are also two large campsites and about eight cabins. We had a wonderful relaxing time. The children enjoyed playing at the beach and exploring the sea life at the bay. Also a good place for children to ride bicycles!
