Be the first to Suzanne - We have camped in Lake George for years. Two years ago we bought a canoe, and we found that Evergreen is on a river, so we tried it and loved it. We camped there in August 2001.
Campground Review
This is a campground that has something for everyone. A beautiful river for tubing or canoeing or just hanging out in; it also has a fishing area. There are two pools, one heated for the little ones. They have a great outdoor cafe that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with the breathtaking Adirondack Mountains as a backdrop. They also have a wonderful staff that runs activities all day, everyday. Between 3 PM and 6 PM they have happy hour with a DJ outside. There is no vacation I enjoy more than a week at Lake George Escape!
