Elizabeth - I found this campground on the Internet looking under state parks in Georgia, and I camped there in October 2001.

Campground Review

This campground was an all around great experience! Campsites could be found looking onward to a beautiful lake or hidden back in the trees. There were no bad sites. There was so much to do in this park - swimming on the beach, hiking on different trails under changing colored trees, picnic sites that look at breath-taking scenes of the lake and its amazing shoreline. There are activities such as hayrides, bonfires and so much more. There is a lodge and a restaurant there too. This state park is very conveniently located near a town and makes a wonderful getaway for anyone who enjoys beautiful scenery.
