Steve - I found this campground in the Trailer Life Campground Directory, and I camped there in June 2001.

Campground Review

This is a beautiful shaded small campground located in downtown Cortez, Colorado. It did not have all the fancy amenities for children, but it was quiet and centrally located, if you want to tour the Four Corners area. Prices were very reasonable and the hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable on local history and people. We were only about 20 minutes from Mesa Verde National Park, 1 hour from Durango, maybe 1 1/2 hours from Silverton and Telluride, 20 minutes from Four Corners Monument, 1 hour from Valley of The Gods and Monument Valley, and about 2 hours from Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park in Utah. If I am back that way again, I will definitely stay there.
