Bill - This campground is 45 miles north of Asheville, NC, where we live. I found it in a camping book, and I camped there in August 2001.

Campground Review

I think this is a great campground because we can camp right on the French Broad River. It has large tent sites; we can take our dogs; and there are hot springs, where you can relax in 98 degree water. We stayed in the primitive area, but it also has hot showers and restrooms. The best part is the price: $15.00 a night.
